Tudo por sexo: seleção sexual em animais humanos e não-humanos
Há uma séries de fatores ligados ao sexo dos indivíduos que influenciam seu sucesso reprodutivo e nos levam a observar, na natureza, uma verdadeira guerra dos sexos. Vamos entender quais são esses fatores e descobrir se nós, humanos, estamos sujeitos a regras similares às dos outros animais.

After graduating in Biology (IBB-UNESP) and PhD in Zoology (IBB-UNESP and CEH - Lacanster Environmental Centre - UK), I continued my research as a post-doc (FMRP - USP) in the area of Comparative Physiology and Animal Behavior. After, I joined the University of São Paulo State (UNESP) in 2007, initially as lecturer in Physiology, and currently, as senior-lecturer. I am also member of CAUNESP, the Center of Aquaculture of UNESP. I have been interested in aquatic animals defensive and stress responses, including potential applications for fisheries.
